Guild Volunteering: Help Maintain the Animal Sanctuaries at Kanyana Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre
Kanyana Wildlife is a not for profit organisation dedicated to caring for sick, injured, orphaned and displaced wildlife. They are committed to breeding threatened species and providing vital training and community education. More than 3,000 sick, injured and orphaned animals are taken to Kanyana Wildlife each year and admitted to the onsite rehabilitation centre for treatment. When they are well enough, their rescuer is contacted to collect the animal and release it where it was found.
Join Guild Volunteering on an excursion to the wonderful centre, and help ensure the animals are provided the best possible conditions and care. We will be carrying out maintenance activities such as gardening and clearing the animal enclosures and aviaries, preparing food, and providing enrichment.
